Our Pricing - The Sliding Scale
At Source Point Community Health CIC we believe in accessible treatment for all.
We want as many people to receive Chinese Medicine as possible, for as long as they need it or want it.
To that end, we’ve priced each treatment using a sliding scale model: you pay what you can afford.
Payment at £25 per treatment ensures that we cover our running costs but we understand that is still too expensive for some so we provide a lower rate for people on low income and a free clinic for people who simply cannot afford to pay.
People who can afford to pay a higher rate help support the clinic and those that need access to healthcare but cannot afford it.
How Much Should You Pay?
Take a look below at the Green Bottle System image and establish which ‘Bottle’ category you fall into.
Then use the pricing chart to select your treatment.
For example, if you fall into the Bottle 3 category, and you require a standard treatment in our community clinic you would pay £30. If you are unsure, please contact us in advance or clarify with one of us on the day of your appointment.
It is important to know that all cash payments are anonymous so treatment quality is not dependent on payment received. You can also pay by card if preferred, though this is not anonymous.
YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
Unlike many clinics we do not charge you more for your first appointment. Although these appointments are longer we don’t want this initial cost to prevent you seeking treatment.
An online deposit is taken to confirm your first appointment and you will receive a confirmation email wit everything you need to know before you arrive.

Which Treatment Should I Book?
Community Clinic Appointment:
The Community Acupuncture clinic is our flagship service and is what the clinic was originally set up to offer. It focuses on multi-bed acupuncture delivered by a multi-practitioners model. This appointment includes an intake and an acupuncture treatment, herbal consultation or 20 minute Tui Na massage.
Community Clinic Prices:
Bottle 1: £50
Bottle 2: £40
Bottle 3: £30
Bottle 4: £20
Choose Your Practitioner:
We offer a choose your practitioner service so that you can have the same practitioner though your whole course of treatment. You will still benefit for our collective approach and second opinions thought our clinical review structure. This appointment includes an intake and an acupuncture treatment, herbal consultation or 20 minute Tui Na massage.
There is an administrative burden in offering this service, therefore the price slightly higher.

Combined Treatments:
These are longer appointments that include an intake and two types of services (acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for example)

Herbal Granules:
If you receive a herbal medicine consultation and require a prescription of Chinese herbs these are charged in addition to the appointment and must be paid for in advance.
You may be prescribed 200g or 400g and are also charged according to the Green Bottle Sysyem.
