Our Pricing - The Sliding Scale
At Source Point Community Health CIC, we believe in accessible treatment for all.
We want as many people as possible to receive Chinese medicine, for as long as they need or want it. To that end, we’ve priced each treatment using a sliding scale model: you pay what you can afford based on your current financial circumstances.
A payment of £30 per treatment ensures that we cover our running costs, but we understand that this is still too expensive for some. We therefore offer a lower rate for people on a low income, and a free clinic for people who simply cannot afford to pay.
People who can afford to pay a higher rate help support the clinic, and those who need access to healthcare but cannot afford it.
How Much Should You Pay?
Take a look at the Green Bottle System image below and work out which ‘Bottle’ category you fall into. Then use the pricing chart to select your treatment.
For example, if you fall into the Bottle 3 category and you require a standard treatment in our community clinic, you would pay £30. If you are unsure, please contact us in advance or check with one of us on the day of your appointment.
YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
Unlike many clinics, we do not charge you more for your first appointment. Although these appointments are longer, we don’t want the initial cost to prevent you from seeking treatment.
Once you have made your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with everything you need to know before you arrive. If it doesn’t appear in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

Which Treatment Should I Book?
Community Clinic Appointment:
The Community Acupuncture clinic is our flagship service. It focuses on multi-bed acupuncture delivered by a team of practitioners. This appointment includes an intake and an acupuncture treatment.
Community Clinic Prices:
Bottle 1: £50
Bottle 2: £40
Bottle 3: £30
Bottle 4: £25
Choose Your Practitioner:
We offer a choose-your-practitioner service so that you can see the same practitioner throughout your whole course of treatment. You will still benefit from our collective approach and second opinions through our clinical review structure. This appointment includes an intake and an acupuncture treatment.
There is an administrative burden in offering this service, so the price is slightly higher..

Bottle 2: £55
Bottle 3: £45
Bottle 4: £35
Combined Treatments:
These are longer appointments that include an intake and two types of service (for example, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, or acupuncture and tuina massage). Please note that we do not offer massage as a standalone treatment.
Combined Treatment Prices:
Bottle 1: £68
Bottle 2: £54
Bottle 3: £45
Bottle 4: £40
Herbal Granules:
If you receive a herbal medicine consultation and require a prescription of Chinese herbs, these are charged in addition to the appointment and must be paid for in advance.
You may be prescribed 200g or 400g, and the cost follows the Green Bottle System.
